Cogito, ergo sum probably applies there.
when you are born you are not self aware, if you don't have any sensorial input you can't make the step to self awareness i guess

could be right thinking about it. probably why it raises a few morality questions.

Blind people who could see before have visual and auditory dreams, but blind people who were born blind only have auditory dreams unless they're deaf, then I can't imagine what they'd dream of, probably visuals they conjure in their head from feeling different textures?
Yeah this basically. I asked my biology professor what a person who was born blind, deaf, and mute would dream because they would have never heard or seen anything. I asked because me and a friend got into a debate about this very question. It turns out they would dream touches, scents, and body positions like sitting, standing, laying down. Such a bland life.

HAHA what a coincidence. I just responded to this thread and me and some mates were chatting about this and I said I wonder what Acid or DMT would be like for a blind/deaf man. Would the blind get the visuals? If so What would they consist of?

Cogito ergo sum lost its value years ago.
Modern philosophy raped it up its ass.

Also why do all threads turn out like these ones.

everyone dreams, some people just don't remember them at all. you also only dream when you're in the very light sleep stage just before you wake up (and maybe when you have just dropped off, i cant remember)

It's kinda obvious that a blind mans dream would be focussed on the other senses. Although I have often thought what a nightmare for a "blind at birth" man would be like.

It's hard to imagen a dream focussed on other senses, but then think of a dream were you woke up emotional over an ex, or someone who's been dead for a while was in.

Haha, that's exactly how I describe closed eye visuals to friends when I'm going through hardcore synaesthesia style trips.
