I do have to say tho, I think there are nuff girls who only dj to get attention etc. I must state I am not one of these. These are the kind of girls that go round bumping the fact that they are female. Example...people that say stuff like "big up all female artists!".
So what if your female...its about what you play, how you play it etc.
If anything I work harder to show what Im about. I spend a lot of money on cutting tunes, cos I dont just wanna play whats been released (and sorry I hate cds). I like putting music out there that i think is badass and giving it exposure. And, also how does it make me different to just play everything thats released.
I dont produce tho, cos I simply dont have the time, and to be honest Im a better dj than I would be producer, so Ill just work harder at what I do. I know what i love and there is no way I could produce to that standard. Ive had a go...and nar.
