I think as most genres reach their crescendo of popularity you see branching of subgenre differentiation and specificity.
This gives rise to a stricter definition of what each sub genre is and focus of the producers in question becomes shifted in one direction or another.
I am looking forward to better vocal tracks with higher end production value myself.
