Thinking about this, I'd say go with FL 110%. I've used Reason since version one and feel fairly confident that I know it inside out.

In Reason, the only way to use audio is via one of the four samplers. Instead of manipulating audio directly, one has to use midi notes to trigger the audio.... Something as simple as reversing a drum hit becomes a major chore involving ayt least two programs. Needless to say, creativity suffers....

Another thing is that unless you also cop hold of Record, you'll still have to resort to a second program to record vocals. You certainly won't be able to do live beat boxing with effects in Reason alone.

Admittedly, Record meets this need and integrates directly into Reason. Still, for the price Fruity allows so much more... (VSTs, skinning, formula controller, beat slicer, audio editor etc etc)

To use a simple analogy, Reason is like a battered Vauxhall Nova from the early 90ies. FL is like a Ferrari with Jason Statham from the Transporter films driving it.... ;)
