sowho rolls off below 30 hz and who doesn't? I've never bothered. Is this a problem?

always nice to leave in that range for rigs capable of hitting you in the chest with that moving air :wink:

That's what my thinking was... but is there headroom down there? why would you roll off below 30 hz or whatever?

Sub bass is part of the whole sound of your track and whilst you cant hear it theres energy down there - energy thats connected with the rest of the sonic spectrum

if you dont cut it that energy effects the overall power of the tune - when you remove the super low you make room for the rest of the track and like magic the whole tune performs better

IF you cut your tracks will perform better when played out

Also if you intend to have it pressed to vinyl you really need yo roll off @ around 30hz. Standard.
