Why does the 'Sweet Shop' release sound like shit??

just ordered it from Juno DL, its almost done Ill listen to see if mines shit but the preview sounded fine.


Just listened and compared to other similair tracks and it sounds fine

just checked out the sample on BEATPORT and yes there is a BIG difference in sound when comparing it to the mixes that I originally heard it on. a shit ton of high end noise.

if this problem has only occurred at one download store, this leads me to believe that it has something to do with that specific stores file encoding.

Usually, the label uploads one uncompressed file (eg .WAV or .FLAC)to the store & the store is in charge of encoding this file into whichever other format the label chooses to sell the track in.

If you bought the tune in a poor quality this might be why you're having problems, but if you bought it in 320 or higher i cant see reason for any instantly noticeable sound quality changes.

Im sure it's not doctor p's fault as the vinyl sounds fine & the beatport version has been approved.
