I have to explain however why I am still much more inclined to take this story (Hollie's story) seriously. I made a couple of comments to this effect over at OH’s place and actually felt severe regret over making them for the reason that I’ve kept silent online (and only spoken to a handful of very close people offline) about this. I feel obliged however to explicitly outline my own experience in this area where so many people, who have a congenital aversion to anything remotely “conspiratorial”, don’t write Hollie’s case and others like her off so easily. I hope you understand that this is very difficult for me to write about and brings up a lot of complex emotions and memories that I’d rather not have to deal with most of the time.

Hollie’s story was so striking to me because it is so similar to my own family’s experience. From what I can gather, what happened to Hollie also happened to my sister and mother at around the same time, except Hollie was in Scotland and we were in Essex.

My sister (one of) has two severe communicative and emotional impariments. I don’t want to be too specific as I’m not sure how comfortable I feel at the moment with revealing too much identifying information. The problems started after she started going to a special day school that was in another, nearby, town.

As far as I know she was sexually abused repeatedly by several members of staff at the school over an extended period, which ended when my mother withdrew her from the school and refused any access to “social services”. I remember that day because she was really worried about the safety of all of us (myself and my other sisters), so she stopped all of us from going to school that day, which also resulted in various calls and visits from “officials” wishing to allegedly check on our well being. I’m sure some of them were sincere genuine people. Some of them definitely weren’t.

I was still pretty much a kid myself at the time – just reaching that difficult transitionary period of manhood between 16/17 . It was all very difficult for me as I was the man of the house and I remember my heart breaking when I was told that my – impaired – sister had asked if I “was going to be their new dad”.

My mother made allegations of abuse against several staff. She also claimed that she herself had suffered serious physical abuse when she went to the school to confront them. I don’t know how much of the latter was true; subsequent events made it seem much more likely. As I said, I was a confused teenager trying to take in as much as I could and feeling completely impotent about my ability to protect my sisters and mother as “the man of the house”.

Anyway, with the allegations flying and my mother seeking legal recourse, things started to get very scary very fast. She subsequently also alleged that elements of the Essex police force were conspiring to protect the people involved; one of the accused was a JP (female). Again, I don’t know how much of this was true, I still can’t imagine the strain my mother was under, especially with what happened next. Its easy to be a bit more forgiving of people’s occasional liberties with the truth when they are faced against what seems like an overwhelmingly powerful opponent.

The response was an attempt to institutionalise my mother. People, who refused to identify themselves, started phoning other family members and telling them that my mother had been diagnosed as being mentally ill and please could they help, for her own good and ours. Some of the family fell for it and my mother lost a major crutch as it split the adults in two. This fell flat however, they didn’t succeed in institutionalising her and she continued making the allegations and seeking help wherever she could find it (which makes me wonder if the Hollie case is horribly complicated this way – Green might not be an upstanding individual as you suggest Anna, but she might also be all Hollie and mother have).

That’s when the really nasty stuff happened.

Each thing could be explained away as horrible coincidence of course.

We used to keep rabbits. They all suddenly went missing. Then one weekend, about two weeks later, when my mum went to stay with some friends and my dad came over to look after us, I got up in the morning and went out into the garden. Our pets were back. They had had their heads removed and expertly stitched up, with little holes dug in the ground that they were stuffed into, with their back ends sticking out. The local vet cut one of the bodies open to find that parts of it had been cut out and the animal sewn back up again.

It was an amazingly skilled job – I remember pulling the big white rabbit out of the hole and spending a long time examining it, not being able to figure out where its head had gone and having trouble making sense of what I was holding – just a big lump of white furry flesh.

I went back inside to get my dad. This was the part when I actually got scared – my dad was visibly shaken. I’d never ever seen him like that before. And he told me that we had to lie to my sisters to protect them, to tell them that a fox had done this to the rabbits.

The next thing to happen – the most likely to be simple coincidence, but I include it here for completeness and the fact that it was so close to all the other events. I was badly beaten in some nightclub toilets by two men. There was no warning. They both shoved me into a toilet cubicle and beat me until some people came into the toilet and screamed at them to stop. By all accounts, then they walked calmly out of the nightclub. By complete chance I did catch up with one of them a few years ago at a late night coffee shop. I should have asked him some questions. Couldn’t help myself though, I attacked him and then it turned into a full on brawl between my friends and his, and I never saw him again.

Around this time, a friend of the family, a local vicar, took up our cause. A few months later he was found dead, from a heart attack in his car. Again, he’d always had health problems so easy to explain away as horrible coincidence.

Also, one of the teachers at the school took our side and started corroborating my mothers story. He died in a car accident a few weeks later on the way back from the school. His wife tried – unsuccessfully – to pursue a case that his death was suspicious. The police wrote it off as an accident caused by something faulty with the car.

At this point my mother pretty much gave up and just focused on ensuring she could keep my sister safe from further harm, effectively becoming her full time carer, and I think she sent me to Sheffield to get away from it all.

And throughout the whole thing – looking back now – I realise just how I felt, as a kid, on the verge of becoming a young adult. I felt completely impotent and emasculated. It doesn’t have to be a grand – wide reaching – conspiracy. All it takes for this kind of horror is a small group of well placed individuals, with power and influence at their disposal, who all cover eachothers’ backs.

It still hurts me deeply now, I get very teary and emotional whenever I think of my sister and the hell she is trapped in between her conditions on one hand and the puke-inducing cruelty of a coterie of sub-human creatures on the other. Even though I’m fairly assured of my sister’s safety now and have made friends with a lot of naughty people up this end, if this crap ever starts again, this time there will be blood, and lots of it.

So you, and especially some of the self-congratulatory posters responding to this story who “don’t believe in conspiracy theories”, will forgive me if I give the Hollie case a little more consideration.

Legal aide to Hollie’s family in abuse claim appears in court

THE legal adviser to the family of a disabled woman who claims she was abused by a paedophile ring as a child has appeared in court charged with breach of the peace.

Robert Green, 63, appeared from custody at Stonehaven Sheriff Court yesterday accused of an offence spanning eight months.

The political hopeful represents the mother of Hollie Greig, a 30-year-old woman with Down’s Syndrome.

Hollie claims she was sexually assaulted by a Scottish sheriff, who is still serving, and a senior Grampian Police officer who is now dead.

Green is alleged to have committed a breach of the peace between June 9, 2009, and February 12 this year in the Ferryhill, Bridge of Don, Bieldside and Woodside areas of Aberdeen.

A handful of Green’s supporters gathered at the court for yesterday’s hearing, while a few more arrived at Aberdeen Sheriff Court expecting him to appear there.

Green, of 4 Birchdale Road, Warrington, Cheshire, appeared in private on petition before Sheriff James Hendry.

He made no plea and was released on bail.

He was represented during the brief hearing by Stonehaven solicitor Denis Daun.

Green was arrested on Friday as he made his way to the centre of Aberdeen to hand out leaflets.

He is understood to have been heading for Union Street to tell people about Hollie’s case and his plans to contest the Aberdeen South parliamentary seat as an independent candidate.

Green had been staying at a bed and breakfast in King Street.

The B&B was searched by police following the arrest.

Hollie claims she was abused for 14 years from the age of six and has given the police the names of some of the men she alleges assaulted her.

The 30-year-old and her mother, Anne, have been campaigning for criminal proceedings since 2000.

The abuse is alleged to have taken place in Aberdeen, and Hollie and her mother claim to have made a statement at Bucksburn police station in July that year naming those involved.

The family moved to Shropshire and two Grampian Police officers travelled to Shrewsbury in September last year to re-interview Hollie at a special facility.

Last month, the Crown Office said there was not enough reliable evidence to proceed with the case.

We at the UK Column are very disturbed to discover that Peter Watson, of Scottish law firm Levy & McRae, has allegedly taken more threatening action in a vain attempt to prevent the Hollie Greig story from gaining an unstoppable momentum.

We have received an email from a whistle blower – a source we consider one hundred percent reliable.

The email reads:

Watch yourself. I think you may be next on the police/Angiolini hit list. I heard from a very reliable source that they are after all concerned with the Hollie Greig case. This is all being orchestrated by Peter Watson of Levy & McRae. Make sure you also make them a focus for the public, just as in their masters and their spin doctors. If Angiolini didn’t have the likes of Watson charging around like a bull she would be nothing. Watson and his troop generate fear and pull the police strings, such as what happened to Robert [Green] last week. They arranged that interdict so he wouldn’t know about it and arrested him for effectively breaching it, although as formal service never took place, they had to arrest him on breach of the peace. I know all about it as a police source has told me the whole story. There was also a request granted to bug Robert’s phone, internet and email. You better tell him that. You might also be next, if its not already enforced. Thanks for letting me know about Tom. When you talk to Robert, give him my regards.

It has also been alleged through another whistle blower that Mr Watson is using resources outside the normal lawful process to achieve his aim of hushing this story up.

It has been suggested in the forums that we are sensationalising things. My aim here is not to sensationalise. It is to report what we are being told, and warned of. Whether or not there is basis to the warning, whether or not this is all just another attempt by Mr Watson to scare us all into shutting up, I would just like to state that we will not tolerate this kind of threatening behaviour.

Finally, I would ask everyone reading this to bear in mind that Hollie’s case is particularly nasty. People at the very top of the Scottish establishment seem to be implicated, either directly in the abuse, or in its cover up. There is already one highly suspicious death associated with it (Hollie’s uncle). The unlawful arrest of Robert Green, and the continuing threats, are just the most recent incident.

"Breach of the Peace" is the biggest abuse of power in Scottish law.

It is a standing joke at the Scottish Police College (where ALL Scot's cops go thru training)

If you don't have a law to fit, or any other legal mandate, you can always rely on a good old 'Dirty Breach' just to arrest someone and get them to STFU.

It even carries a Life Imprisonment maximum jail term, which only adds to the hilarity.

It's always dangerous when those in power, be they Lord Advocates or police staff, think that THEY can DARE think what is good for the 'Lieges' to effect a dodgy arrest.

Aye, 'Leiges'. The Scots use this term 'annoying the Leiges' in their definition of Breach of the Peace. The term Leiges means 'vassals' or 'loyal subjects' Subject = serf slave.

The Breach stinks and it needs clearing out once and for all, along with the idea we are fcking vassals or subjects

I haven't replied because I am already aware of it and said my two pence on another forum, which is pretty much the same as what hackman said. I also have to say it's not the first time somthing like this has happened i.e. that is the white washing. The apathy you're getting on this thread is also seen in other areas of the world. "We" are quite happy to sleep walk into something as long as it doesn't directly effect us. Take the Iraq war demo a few years back, loads of people went to that and then went to work the next day and forgot all about it and even more people just went a long to it to serve their smug liberal middle class values... then went and voted New Labour straight back in.
