is it not? havent listened to dnb stuff for a while.... other than the half tempo stuff like u got in ur mix.

some of the half tempo stuff in my mix is from many years back. like Amit - he's been making stuff like that since 2002 as far as i know.

been mixing dnb for ages and never heard of this 'drumstep' subgenre till now. I always just thought it was just 'interesting diversified dnb'. seems ever since calibre released 'steptoe' now the jumpup heads are thinkin this is a new bandwagon to ride or something?

Def planning my own drumstep mix. Grooverider is just pushing a sound developed with-in the dnb community over the past 10 yrs and now that dubstep is so popular its taking whats now being called drumstep with it.
