It's got to the point now where i only literally go out for dubstep nights or any venue that plays dubstep or anything with a bass and beat to it. I use to go out to any old club and just get pissed and have a good time but now whenever I go out with my mates and that I find it really shit, mainly because the music isn't to my taste and on most occasions leave early or sometimes not even bother going out when asked.

Just wondered if anyone else has shared similar experiences to me? I know it sounds fucking crazy but my social side of things have dipped because of this.
Pretty much EXACTLY the same as me. Since discovering dubstep its the only nights I will go out for (and drum and bass/experimental dj's).

Before I used to go to the commercial clubs and never really liked it but stayed and got pissed. Now if I set foot inside a commercial club I leave within 1 minute. the atmosphere is shit, the music is shit, the people there are shit. Usually full of rugby heads who want to punch your face in if you step on their lace.

I've found that dubstep are by far the best nights out i ever go out on, but their seems to be a bit of a lack of them in glasgow or maybe im just aware of them!

i thought this thread was gonna be about too many labels or something. i like the fact that there is tons of shitty dubstep out, cuz the people who play it will get weeded out!

Sounds pretty normal to me. Once you get hooked on the dub there's no turning back!
Still. saying that been an avid listener for 2yrs and now i've only just started taking it into moderation.
Enjoy the ride while it lasts!
