Thanks for taking time to listen and appreciate the tunes - apart from the fact that these tunes are at 140bpm, there is very little 'dubstep' about them, they are straight up dub from the roots, 8-track style. Just doin my bit to restore the balance

You're welcome man, been a fan of your stuff for a while, one of the main reasons being how the dub really shines through in your music. Been trying to have a go at doing more dub influenced dubstep myself and yet to pluck up the courage to just try dub aha but you really got it nailed.

Thanks, it's always good to know who's really feeling the sound, and that the dub is appreciated. I'm also intrigued about the other reasons why you like my tunes...
Pluck no longer, and the dub will come! I recommend you make some dub before you try and infuse it into your 'dubstep' - so many people get it back to front I find. I was making dub many years before dubstep was born.
As for the last bit, cheers! More soon come, weather depending!

if you are sendin out any 320s i'd love a copy
Glad you're digging the dubs man! I think you're right, and definitely reckon more 'dubstep' producers should make more strict dub, if they can; and dubstep listeners should get to know more dub, in order to keep the movement strong. Otherwise, I reckon it should drop the 'dub'-step tag...
320s soon come

true be that man ive been thinking about havin a crack at some dub but i wouldnt really know where to start (only been producing since october n have only ever produced dubstep).
but yeah its such a shame that the dubby side of dubstep is fading away, its the sound i love and the sound that got me into dubstep in the first place. i love it when something dubby gets posted on here cos then at least i know that people are still making this kind of music and not letting it just disappear into the history books.

If you've only been producing d/s for a few months then you have nothing to lose (and everything to gain) from trying your hand at a proper dub...it'll make your d/s that much more vibing! Get on it!
I think its a shame that a genre that started off with such a roots influence has moved so far from it in such a short space of time. Dub will not die - the history books will be filled with bait-wobblers!

these are great!
from the point of view of an old timer who's been listening to reggae for 20 years, this is really nicely done.
it's like you got dub syndicate, augustus pablo and bill withers to jam with each other - then got stoned and mixed it down!
any chance of a 320 of these? would love to have these on my player to cycle around to now the sun's out
thanks for the vibes, and glad you're doing this stuff - been liking your tunes ever since i heard creation dub and dust

Hey Jugo, thanks for your kind words! It means a lot when someone who's been into reggae longer than I have appreciates the effort!
Good to hear you're a fan since back in the day
320? You're on the list

Quite a few other reasons aha, your tunes always seem to have the right amount going on in terms of progression without taking anything away from the atmopshere and the beats still maintain that sparse feeling while keeping a great roll to the track...personal favourite of mine being 'Dream Catcher' btw.
I think that's the mistake i may be making with my dubstep then atm then, i get plenty of inspiration from dub but always seem to try and infuse that into dubstep without ever trying dub itself first. I guess i've always been held back by dreading how bad it could turn out ahah. Cheers for the advice!
Oo and if you're putting people down for 320's i'd definitely be more than interested!

@ Neurotik,
no worries man, glad you think it's worth taking up the dub challenge! Don't dread it, it's not like you are obligued to post links to every track you make! Make a few dubs and see how they go - experiment a little, or a lot, and sooner or later you'll have learned your own techniques which you can apply to your d/s!
@ Billy,
cheers fella, sure thing

@ Five oh:
Nice one, will do - just about to upload, and working on some different versions.
@ Kitch:
Nice one too, glad you're appreciating the vibes on this one. Gonna give it to way for a bit, and maybe see about a white label or something.
