you must accept others and not use them as your measuring stick

i hear a lot of tunes get played commercially, is there really the need for a new thread every time someone hears a dubstep track on the radio?
it was big news 1-2 years ago, now not so much

Haha yep!
Technicaly production-wise rusko's music is good, i'm just not fan of it.
Mt. Eden's not good even production-wise.

I don't see kuedo or shackleton (for example) being rinsed on the daytime radio, that's all that matters for me.

i read either on this or a different thread that dubstep's getting huge among neo-hippy crowds and jam band people, and there were TONS of them there.
Yeah because all the fest crowd has a huge boner for bassnectar
and they think hes what started it
one time someone commented on how they liked my bassnectar influences
its just pilled out kids who dont really know the music, dont let it bother you because if you present it properly, you can get people diggin on the good vibes.

i dunno this will come across as very elitist and snobby but theres a certain crowd i def would rather not see at dubstep events. When i first saw skream back a few years back the crowd was your typical bunch of passionate dubsteppers. Next time i saw him (post la roux remix) the crowd was pretty chocka with pretentious fashionistas. I know this shouldn't really bother me as there not talking to me but meh i dunno... Feel as if this kind of crowd dont really have alot of passion for the genre
Don't be so judgemental - I'm a fashionable geezer and i've been loving dubstep since 2005

exactly even tho his tunes arent that bad i cant get down to that and like someone else said alot of dubstep is getting into the mainstream but it doesnt necessarily mean its shit, i for one dig ruskos tunes and if it gets mainstream then fuck it hes doing what he came to do to make some music and get paid
Mt Eden doesnt even have a record label, i dont think so, he just has tunes on youtube that got a lot of hits
anyone can become big on youtube... just use tubethumper
