I think that I had my first lucid dream 2 days ago. I was at my school and I suddenly started floating like 2 metres into the air, then I came back down and checked my watch. First it said 6:59 and then I looked at it again and it said 26:31 and then I realised that I was lucid dreaming. I then went to find my history teacher to find out my GCSE results and he gave them to me.
I felt like I was making my own choices in this dream like real life but I couldn't do superhuman stuff like fly or whatever.
Does this sound lucid or not? Does it take a while before you can start controlling stuff?

Re: getting high in dreams
I don't know, I've always been able to do what I want in my lucid dreams. Well to an extent. A common one I have is where I float into the sky. I know its a lucid dream because I get this amazing feeling whenever I have the dream so I when I realise its a lucid dream I want to recreate that feeling and I tell myself to jump and never come down.

ye it could be that your own expectations arent letting you fulfil the potential of your dreams, like a little bit of you doesnt actually believe you can fly, and that stops you.Coppola wrote:I think that I had my first lucid dream 2 days ago. I've maybe smoked a few joints in my dreams, but I don't really think so
