Having grown up surrounded by French music, I'm somewhat imune to the sexiness unfortunately. Plus they always take the piss out French Canadians (which is fair play so long as you're from anywhere EXCEPT FranceKaneda wrote:Well, I kinda like phoenix, and the fact that France is stuck in Electro, well I really dont mind that at all. Maybe more "Future Dub" than Dubstep proper but I saw him rock it with RSD last month in Montreal and he killed it with a really dope live performance of his own tunes that had a crowd that probably had never heard of him before vibin' like crazy. Definitely impressed me.
Fun fact: despite never coming close to releasing a good rock record and staying hopelessly stuck in electro as far as edm goes, France probably had the world's second best pure Hip-Hop scene back in the 90's.
Have you heard NIghtcall? Pure French sexiness.

Big fan of Ed Banger's DJ Mehdi though, he came up through one of Paris' toughest crews and his stuff has that roughneck edge to it that shines through.
