all about nigerian bottled guiness, tastes f all like guiness but is like nectar when you aquire the taste, makes the stupid drink prices at mass seem bearable too

i notice that the stuff around these days is just "foriegn extra" but brewed in ireland, cant tell the difference tho

When I was over there all the bar staff kept drawing for the Guinness 'Extra Cold' tap, which I guess is the default setting for North Americans.

At home though, it's all about getting it to the right temp for that head and pouring it into a proper pint glass. I'm trying to figure out if the bottles are better than the cans. Will report back when I get the lab results.

Mind you if it was the Carling in a Stella glass, you've already stepped up 20p in the prestige stakes.

Big pimpin or whut????

1. Out of the glass. The smoothest and best not for getting pissed tho
2.Out of the can (if your on a mellowish one) At home with a zoot
3.Out the bottle Nigerian or St James Gate, people get themszelves so confused about this bit (want 2 get lashed) Or 4 guiness punch

right then!!!!

Guiness out of a tin is like when your on a mission.
when you just gotta get the job done and get loads of it down ya self

the glass is a for a more thoughtful , medatational pint, when you want to be reflective or maybe to even look mysterious in the corner of a pub, as you sip alone maybe glancing at the economist on the table in front of you.

i enjoy guiness regular more then cold , i love guiness warm/hot the most.
i love guiness punch, i love steak and guiness pie .

guiness exports not the one no matter how many people try to convince you of otherwise.
guiness shandy is for trendy city boys and mettallers who like the taste of
satans gnarled penuss .

i roll spliffs with guiness flavoured skins and i live in a house made completley from guiness baked bricks .

also, decibella, the importance of branded glasses is often overlooked.

there is etching at the bottom of the glass which affects the amount of time the beer will keep its head and fizz.....
so . in this instance , uhhuh, you will find the answer in the bottom of a glass.( im a right cnut me.)

given a can or a full pint to choose from it would be a pint every time for me! saying that, canned guiness holds its own pretty well compared to other draught vs. can drinks. eg. stella on tap vs. can of stella. two totally different drinks sometimes.

dont know what the deal with extra cold is? guiness is supposed to be cool not sub zero. it doesnt taste right at all.

Currently working my way through the genuine 605ml STOUT IMPORTED FROM NIGERIA FOR ITS UNIQUE TASTE. Its definitely got a bigger "payoff" than either can or draught but the taste makes me wonder if it was worth the journey from Ikeja.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would choose canned over draft. Canned guinness is better than most canned lagers tho
