yeah you are doing very good so far. I've listened almost every track now and I must say that i hear more diversity than in the fabriclive mix of instra:mental and dBridge. (ok yeah that's a mix but whatever)
Basically everything just has that minimal vibe to it, and that's good!

intalex mix is what i still get royalties from, also one of the best dnb mixes too

When I talk about dnb in 2010 it's about limewax, current value, cooh, katharsys, forbidden society, lucio de rimanez, raiden etc.

or it's complaining about how bad jump up's got

while cooh is on that compilation too and he has broad perspectives about it too...

gridlok and the violence camp still keep a broad perspective
how welcome to violence never got huge and is still regarded as a classic is beyond me

I think its due to the fact that they are from LA. Los Angeles has a way of swallowing you up. You get lost in all the endless noise of the hype that is coming from that city. The hype light from LA is blinding and If you are from there its difficult to stand out and be seen. imo

As far as drum n bass goes, I am into the new jump up thats coming out ! To me, the new jumpup dnb (Taxman, Dj Hazard etc) is better now than its ever been. I'm really into the Dread Recordings/ Ray Kieth/ Dj Vapour kind of dnb tho too... check my mix with new material from Dj Vapour and Ray Kieth. you can't say no to this !

this darkish minimal dnb (spectresoul etc), i think is very good, altho i think it's a downer that they all use these plastic drums.. It has no texture, no life, it's so mono-tone.. too bad imo. I guess they have to use the plastic drums because they are sitting more in their frequency zone/range so they can mix their tracks with this kind of minimalistic high clarity which results in this minmal sounding. Which sounds really great. Only too bad they use stupid drums
