i know a guy whose at lewisham college now though, doing some sort of musci tech btec, apparently most of the class just make dubstep all day

Try 2 Oscillators together. One a simple sine wave (for depth) the other a sawtooth wave passing through a low pass filter. Turn the resonance up on the filter and in the filter envelope section set the attack just below 1/4 of the way up. Automate the filter using a MIDI controller. I got good results after playing with it on the Malstrom in Reason for a couple of minutes, but any dual oscillator synth should do it. If you can output oscillator (sawtooth) to a reverb unit then that will more or less - with a little tweaking of course - do the job. The sawtooth cuts though the mix better than the sine wave so either a) turn the sawtooth down, b) turn the sine wave up or c) both!impey wrote:MV_143_F_PINCH6COMPLOOPMr DX wrote:What's the file called?
