I feel bad for Cookie Monsta. He seems like a sincere guy who always tried to make something fun and interesting with each new track, and although I'm not a fan of "filthy" dubstep in general, I still think he gets more flack than he deserves.

But this is just an embarrassment.

Don't like this track in anyway. I also get kinda angry about these kind of 'dubstep' tracks
I wish I could just leave the crap alone :?

the funny thing about this

stenchmen puts out filthy shit in the same ball park as cookie monsta,,,,, (next level mission, new socks) and nobody gives shit about it

and to be fair, at least cookie monsta doesn't rinse the same sounds as much, id much rather hear varying hype tracks, than tracks with the same wobble in each one.

.
respect to cookie monsta, hes doing his thing, wish i could have seen him spin in LA in april, FUCK U.S. CUSTOMS!

"Cookie Monsta" is far from shit. I'm actually not a big fan of a lot of his tunes but they sound well put together. He does his own thing and has been for a while instead of latching on to whatever is "in" at that moment in time.

He definitely has his own original sound as well. I suppose everybody does but you can really tell with a lot of his tunes. I'd much rather listen to somebody switching shit up with a different sound than the people that literally rinse the same exact preset for every single one of their tracks.

That being said there are a few tracks of his that I think are absolute bangers. I listen to a wide range of music...not just dubstep..and I don't see what's with all the hate towards the "tear out, jump up" shit. I listen to it when I'm in the mood for it. Sometimes you just get in a certain mood to listen to a certain type of music. If you don't like it that's cool...but I don't see the reason to go off on a tangent and HATE it as much as you possibly can. I thought dubstep was all about all of the variety that you could find inside of the genre...which you can still find...which is amazing. All you really need is sub bass.

When I am in the mood for that type of music though...shit like this hits it hard.

High pitched synths maybe...there is still sub in this song..and I can definitely FEEL it through my speakers. I wouldn't call those "basslines".

Question for you: what made you give the tune a listen in the first place? Surely it wasn't a couple of chavs walking into hmv playing it for you on their cellphones?
