absolutely awesome news.... Rinse FM has been integral in spreading the dubstep virus around the world, and this is much deserved imo.

Big up all involved!

My initial thoughts were that this was terrific news. But on second thoughts, I hope the fact that they have obtained a licence doesnt effect what they play out. I dont wanna hear 'Woo Boost' looping every 5 minutes!

Fingers crossed, gratz to the rinse FM gang!

Big up Rinse management, getting this licence has taken over 15 years, of which I'm proud to have been a part of for the last 7 years
yes mate, this is proper headline news. Rinse is the number1 longtime running radio station and so deserves being licenced. I remember the days when scratchy was a dj on rinse a good 9years back.
Roll deep in general allways had the best show in my opinion. Even tho scratch is a big mc i would still love to hear him do some dj sets
but he aint having none of it. I remember shortly after getting internet listening to dj's like n-type, scientist and chef for the first time on rince, you can't help but love the vibes they bring and the mixing really is second to none. Congrats rinse fm!!! :e:

i don't think he's quite grasped the idea of punctuation yet.
or the use of paragraphs.
or sentences for that matter.

I've put up a quick article about it on Theartsdesk http://www.theartsdesk.com/index.php?op ... &Itemid=12

Please pass this around to all and sundry - if you want to explain to parents what Rinse is all about etc, you can show them it's on a respectable arts website ;)
