in my experience its better too mix with quiet volumes due to fletcher munson whatever its called.
My mixing has improved tenfold when i started mixing at low volumes, helps your earfatigue as well
and then when it sounds all good turn op the volume and it will just sound better

Haha. I'll check on Monday. It might make sense with the FB routing, but the diagram on the routing page makes it look like the Master Vol comes after everything.
Totally forgot about this. Just checked - Massive master volume is right at the end of the chain, so it doesn't affect the sound at all. In plug-in mode it also won't clip the output - only in standalone (kinda necessary because your soundcard can only go up to 0dBFS whereas most DAWs have silly headroom on their channels).
