I haven't been to a party there in a long, long time

Although - Greensboro, Goldsboro, Charlotte, and Columbia had some awesome parties back in the day..

There was an abandoned train station that they used to have parties in...
and right downtown - an old theater or something had been turned into a pretty impressive space..

also - there was this very odd club in a suburban type place that had a weird multi level dance floor that was paritioned off by walls - and you had to go up and down ramps that were to either side of the dance platforms..met some kids there who were travelling from Storm raves...

There was this warehouse space - that was meant to be rented as garages - small business start-up - and some kids were living in it and throwing some of the most hardcore parties ever - there was a huge open shower and drain right on the dance floor..

I remember another party that was in this Goth club - We had to wait outside till the vampires filtered out - saw Cosmic Baby there...that may have been around Atlanta though...

Mythos in Charlotte...Where the Hardkiss Bros. were always playing..

Back then - every bar with a decent system and dance floor flipped into a rave after 3...

I went to about 50% of all the parties in NC from 1995 to 1998. I need to scan and upload my flyers. The most memorable were:
Greesboro: Babylon (first friday), club zero
Winston Salem: Millennium Center (Beyond raves)
Charlotte (mythos, baha, tremont, mixx, terodactyl)
Durham (club crystals, power company)
Raleigh (new bar)
