Definitely agree here, the original is great the way it is. I honestly don't see how any club related remixes can bring anything new to the table with this, particularly not a typical halfstep minimalist-makeover that Loefah has done so many times already.ADRUU wrote:I dont really feel it.
Am I the only one that thinks the original of this one is better? If there was one track that was completely headbuckingly energetic, and DIDNT need to be half-ed down it was it.
at first the remix didn't get me. nor me it. but after hearing it out and loud many times i've grown to love it. exactly how you say ben.UFO over easy wrote:I love 'em bothThe contrast between loefah's beat and flowdans vocal is fantastic in the remix, and loefah's vocal edits are sick. The original is just pure energy. Different tunes for different times..

Remix is sick, absolutely goes off at fwd.
Not understanding the criticism on this.
Club related remix what? It aint about any of that mate, it's just how Loefah thinks he can make a good tune even better. That's what a remix is.

By "club related" I mean remixes that are meant for the dance, as I think there is little to no potential left for a remix catering to the dance when the original is as good as it is (I remember the original got three rewinds on Kode9's FWD podcast last year).Digital wrote: Club related remix what? Obviously, I disagree with Loefah on this kind of makeover making the tune better. And, just in case: the first time I ever heard this was at Warrior Dubz last year, didn't like it then either.

youve got a difference of opinion, let it go man, people are allowed to like different stuffDigital wrote:I know what you meant.
So what you're saying is if a tune gets 3 rewinds +, it shouldn't get remixed? Ha. Isn't the majority of dubstep catered for the dance?
Heavy remixes of already shower tunes:
Rutten
Third Choice
Request Line
Avenger
Splurt
Punisher...to name a few.

Yeah, that was exactly what I meant.Digital wrote: So what you're saying is if a tune gets 3 rewinds +, it shouldn't get remixed?
And so what if the majority of dubstep is catering to the dance? That should just be all the more incentive for producers to take a completely different approach if you ask me.
Yeah ok then, nice one.Sand Leaper wrote:Yeah, that was exactly what I meant.Digital wrote: So what you're saying is if a tune gets 3 rewinds +, it shouldn't get remixed?I was merely making a reminiscing remark similar to your "This remix is sick, it goes off at FWD"-remark.
