thats where i stand. not been in 5 years

if theres a good rig im up for it. the random element/risk was fun
the abacus rig is a decent 6k speaker (10k amps) set up. should sound decent if we get a good room. -t-

its also all about getting good security

and there are bare maintenance costs for a soundsystem to run parties

its all about semi-legal raves. its NOT about having to go outside to blaze!

most all of the squat parties i've heard of/been to in london recently have a fiver entrance. free as in freedom, not free as in free beer!!  the names pay for themselves by bringing in more people, not by us charging more at the door. and no one is making money of course, just goes towards the rig and other costs.

no doubt there has been dubstep at squat parties for time, in our soundsystem dj rivalry for example has been playing his own stuff for ages all around, and i've played a dubstep set at parties before. theres just never been a squat party in london that i've heard of that has billed itself as a dubstep party (sincere apologies if i'm wrong), which i guess is what people, myself included, are hyped about... usually the dubstep is just part of a mixed bag night (which, don't get me wrong, is cool too, and we'll have some sounds besides dubstep to mix things up a bit -- but dubstep is definitely the main feature of the night by far).

Er, I was joking. Been involved in setting up a few before, although there were no name dj's and we did it mostly on donations. Always handy to have a few dealers onboard if the party faithful are just chucking their coppers in the jar

Haha Poax, U know about Highbury estate an all. How are they gonna get round to every club? To be honest if any British rappers come up 2 me and extinguish my spliff I will have to diminish their puny couplets with pure unadulterated bass! ps Do you think I could get in trouble for being called dubfarma?
