seriously- so worth every penny.

the vibe in the place was already at the ceiling by the time joe got on. everyone had the biggest grins on their faces man- hell i've still got a big ass grin on. so good meeting the canadian crew, darcy, hera, juakali, gel, dave, georgina, and of course loefah, mala and pokes!

nothin but LOVE for everyone <3 <3

didn't want to leave boxcar so early on sunday but we had a plane to catch. kinda had mixed emotions when our flight wasn't canceled. looking forward to seeing everyone again! come down to the dirty south sometime soon

i give thanks for the famble that made the last 96 hours a truely unforgetable experience. jokes, bassweight, drinks, drinks, meals, crazy snowball fights, adventures in harlem, more drinks, bassweight, drinks, drinks, drinks, bassweight, driving 100mph across nyc bridges....

dave, joe juakali>>big up to new angles, new insight. buildbuildbuild. shouts to the DD family :eshin & dj seoul too.

mala->the man in the zone right now. too big. positivity wins everytime.
loefah->some absolutely stupid beats coming. carnage. thank you for the conversations. most defo food for thought. big up.
pokes->the man with the best jokes and best vibes around. large up the sgt everytime.
georgina->legend. lovely to hang, even though it all rushed by too fast. much love.
orson->some great laughs and conversations. keep in touch brother.
i-sound->thank you for the pubwar. such a huge way to round out the vibes.
hank shocklee ->the man on another level all together. thank you for taking the time to speak. a true scholar.
hera->i miss your laugh already. big hug for you next time.
secret agent->comic genius in the making.
nyc family->supertremendous, moldy, human, seguethin, rekall and many people i'm forgetting. you guys have held us down. big up.
ricky ricardo, signal, john ask, viceroy, baltimore/washington chinese bus crew-> absolute soldiers from the start. you guys always get my respect. see you next time.
the whole ontario crew ->i'll never say that canadians can't drink again. HOLY moly. how's the liver damage? big up to all you border crossers. till the next time.
texas/australia/carolina crew-> i'm sorry i didn't get a chance to speak to you guys. thank you for the support.
deepspace/francois/erica->thank you for making it such a huge end to the weekend. funktion one....o my goodness.

i'd say you really want to watch for georgina's and hera's pics.
the canada crew are the ones to speak to for the video footage.

two memories that defined the weekend:
-mala & loefah b2b. the tonic set was absolute destruction.
-mala dropping matty g -50,000- on funktion one at cielo. the whole place was on their feet. even francois k was moving. o my days.

i need sleep. peace.

No clue where to start. Thanks to everyone who made the trip so incredible. It was absolutely flawless; UK, NY, Cali, Austin and the rest. The trip back to Canada was easy, as we were all still smiling from the past 3 days.

poax, I'ma try out that thing we talked bout. I'll be sure to tell the lady it's a poax original.

The Canada crew made my night, most definitely the nicest, most fun loving kids I've met out in a long time.

Can't wait for the next Dubwar!

Just wanted to say that it was nice to get to meet a couple of the forum heads.

Pompende and friend, Ricky Ricardo and the Canadian crew.

No dissing American beer!

I had to take off earlier than I wanted to, didn't get to go to the Sunday night thing.

Fucking weather fucked up my flight out of La Guardia.

Spent Sunday night on the floor of the Milwaukee airport.

Sounds like the Pubsession and Francois K thing were live.

Big ups to all the heads.

ah yes, i posted this yesterday in the rollcall thread.
pompende wrote:ahhhh. just got home. what a big night, nice vibes, rammed venue, safe folks. out to all the forum heads showing: s.a.gel. hera, fredo. early que crew! siah allen and i smoking pon the corner, georgina coming all the way from london! orson digging the dirty streets of nyc. thanks to mala, loe, poax for coming out what a big night.

dq and joe nice smacked it. just silly. so many tunes havent heard before. seriously. neck deep in the bass.

dmz held all down. all the big tunes getting the crowd moving. anti-war dub and the tapped version pulled up 4 times! swear i heard a tourtured remix with fatfat bassline. what was that tune mala put one at the end, right before bury da bwoy? was sounding nekst. want to hear that one again.

bass could have been thicker but it was pretty good for me. i have not felt anything like that for a damn while. place was rammed too, so many people, wild! it seemed like at least halfthe people were from out of town! i ended up getting faced too. sorry for any toes i was stepping on! ah, goddamn, dave sharma sorry we didnt link up bro, i was feeling proper lost in all those people. but yeah yeah yeah big vibes, big bass, im glad i reached. big up everybody making a week out of it. hopfeully my schedule will work out better next time, it was all hurry for me.

what happened in the cool-off sesh? i need the fill-in. hopefully some literal dmz vs dubwar head to head plate setting?
sounds like i definitely should have stayed out later, goddamn! i got a bastardly good hot sandwich and no vomiting tho. you know, its all about that balancing.
HBO wrote:Fuck pictures, I wish there was a soundboard recording of that amazing night of heavy bass.
ah there should be. engineer told me the name of the guy doing the tape but...i have completely forgotten it now.

anyway, 8, come with the photos!
