hahaha i love that you think the food in England is terrible?? i think its probably mutual because in england we kind of assume that anything good the States has to offer foodwise, has nothing to do with america...fractal wrote:some gross looking food tbh

british food can be fantastic i think, but to me, stuff like fish and chips and whatever r things to be avoided at pretty much all costs

Re: Food thread
I have the following:
Jerk Chicken with rice n peas
Coconut Snapper
Spicy cabbage and saltfish
Pumpkin rice
Roasted yams
Some other spicy Jamaican food
AND LOOOOOOADS OF IT!! One of my mates is a chef and he cooked up an all you can eat Caribbean buffet for tonight but right before his restaurant was due to open there was a flood and they had to close for the evening, shit loads of food was going to go to waste so he gave all the staff and his mates as much as he could eat and gave the rest to Shelter (the charity), so there's some homeless people in Newcastle tonight stuffed full, nice one Polltie

I've not eaten anything tasty of recent as i think i've given my self a stomach ulcer. I was diagnosed with Gout of the stomach but i'm not convinced that it actually exists. Apparently i lead too much of a lush lifestyle and need to cut down.
However tonight i think i'll cook a thick beef stew based on Harissa paste
