Yeah, not feelin his step.
He seems like a pretty cool guy in the studio, don't understand the hate, he's a harmless white kid like most of us. Gonna check out some interviews...
EDIT: read about the whole rusko incident. What a douchenozzle

Who was it on here that was adamant that Deadmau5 didn't make house, and tried to make me out as some idiot because I claimed that he was house producer?
But yeah, shit dubstep in that vid.

I'm sure every producer nailed dubstep in their very first/early productions too.
Sarcasm, what sarcasm?

Pretty sure deadmau5 has never made proper electro in his life. Flacid, formulaic kiddie trance and electrohouse maybe. Guy's a bawbag imo.

He is a truly sick 4-4 producer though which is a lot more important than his personality. I mean if we're talking personalities MJ is probably my all time favourite artist and he was a nonce (which is a lot worse than being arrogant isn't it?) but thats not going to stop me listening to his music, don't think by that I'm in any way comparing the supreme unmatchable musical greatness of MJ & Quincy Jones to Deadmau5 but you see what I'm getting at?
Whether all not he is a ball bag (I couldn't care less if he is and the music industry is full of them anyway so he would hardly be the exception) I think he's one of the best 4-4 producers out there atm

Yes deadmau5 is a shit producer. That's why he is currently the biggest selling electronic music artist in the world.
The world is wrong and 15 bedroom wannabee dubstep producers are right.
Pathetic.

nobody said he's a crap producer. infact most of us said we like his music. personally, 'i remember' is one of my favourite tracks of all time, lovely stuff. but his dubstep stuff is terrible. it's not poorly produced, it's just not very like-able, imo.

The guy is an amazing electronic music producer. I'm sure if he could be bothered; he could make a dubstep track that would blow away most of the competition.
What is dubstep now suddenly harder to make than any other electronic style? haha.

yeah i agree that he's an amazing electronic music producer, and i agree he could make a dubstep track that would blow away most of the competition, but he hasn't, and that's what we're discussing, isn't it?

I think he's a shit producer. Personal opinion innit. I can't class someone as a brilliant producer just because he sells lots of records. His music sounds formulaic and quite cheesy to me.

I like his prog house stuff but yeah, stick to what you're good at and don't jump on the bandwagon. Will gain more respect.

he's a good producer obviously... we all know that. he just seems like he's up his own arse, which helps people forget that he's a good producer.
"ooo im deadmau5, i'm going to film myself making music in my studio while smoking a cigarette" i don't get it

All I'm saying is that his dubstep is shit, and that seems to be everyone else's opinions.
/end thread.
