JAKES, the godfather of the Bristolian dubstep scene, had just finished the last leg of his New Zealand tour at Flow Bar in Hamilton. The Hcity Project caught up with JAKES post-show for what was intended to be a ten-minute Q&A session. However, it unseeingly developed into a two-hour conversation and a 3am burger mission, as we touched on the origins of JAKES, his plans for the future, and everything in between.

Ok, so this week had a bit of a fail week, mixer at the station is getting repaired, and the show before me managed to snap one of the faders off, and turntables weren't earthing properly on the mixer. So can't be bothered uploading it this week.

Massive night in the studio, with Ghettozoid's last day in New Zealand before flying off to the UK for BLOC + an equally massive exclusive 3 beat mix from the one like Flexxx

Please excuse the technicals at the start, the right turntable died on us, so ended up having to learn to to mix on one deck on serato live on air. Big up to whoever designed the instant doubles function!
