To all the Birmingham heads.. Many of you say your love your deep dark dungeon sounds. Copies of ARE001 & 003 now available from HQ Muzik in the city centre. Support the sounds and support your local record store.!!
Area 003 now available and in store at BM-Soho, should be in the online store today.

News update - 21/11/10
As we approach the official release of ARE003 tomorrow. We would like to give a massive thanks to the BM-Soho gang for tipping us as their dubstep highlight for the week and their web master Snook, putting us 2nd in his picks for the week chart. BM-Soho has long been a mecca for dubstep heads so this is a real honour for us. As well as this we also had a good feature in Kmag at the start of the month. To kick off the new release we are also pleased to announce the opening of our online shop where you can buy all our releases and a little bit of merchandise.
http://www.arearecordings.com take you to our store and links you to audio previews of all our releases and our podcast series.

Hi Brent
There is exactly 150 copies. We had the joy of hand numbering them all. Each record comes with a slip numbered to match the record to claim the MP3 versions as well as a 3 track MP3 bonus EP from Be-1ne, plus a couple of logo stickers.
It can be ordered now from:
BM-Soho or direct from us at the
Area online store It will be appearing in other stores of the course of this week and we will endeavor to post the link as we see them.
Thanks for the support

Boomkat review just in:
Fat and crisp atmospheric dubstep from Birmingham's Ben Ewins aka Be-1ne. His is the 1st vinyl release from his homegrown Area recordings, dropping one side of Icicle-alike spare and dread-filled '06 halfstep on 'Tube Sound', backed with a gloomy lurcher in 'Illusion' on the flip. Classy stuff for fans of Youngsta DJ sets, or the dread halfstep of Kryptic Minds, Loefah etc.

The final few copies of this release are now at the distributor so should be filtering back into stores over the next couple of days.
Once it's gone it's gone. This will not be re-repressed so grab it while you can.
Respect to everyone who's supported.

B's been a busy bee this week, will ask him if he has a copy of it, but he does tend to only archive once a month if that. Worth asking about though as a few people some times record the show. try asking in the sub.fm chat.
Thanks
