op is moron. people are joking around man, im relatively certain that timbaland's.. dubstep roots... don't really exist that much. s'all about old school garage. The most important releases for dubstep as a whole were "midnight request line/i" and "spongebob/the end". for me at least.

to the OP:

check out The Roots of Dubstep CD

it has a lot of songs that led to the evolution of this sound, maybe not the first dubstep tunes, but at least you can hear the source

also, i would recommend buying the physical cd as the liner notes are awesome, they describe the evolution and depict a flow chart of the sound
