sounds good to me famalamwolf89 wrote:That's my point. It should stay on the street.hugh wrote:how the hell is it gimmicky? These are proper, recorded live-off-the-street songs that sound as if they were made in a studio. Plus he has a fantastic singing voice. Honestly If I saw something like this walking down the street it would totally make my day.
It's something that might catch your attention for a second if you walked by it but really it's not very impressive as it just sounds a bit shit

Re: Dub FX...
Beardyman may be a better entertainer and beatboxer but Dub FX still has shitloads of talent. And he makes good music, imo.
After seeing the video for Flow with Mr Woodnote on the sax, bought his album and wasn't disappointed. He has a unique sound.
He has also made a dubstep album with Sirius called Crossworlds. Can't post a link cos i'm at work but the samples of what I heard sounded promising.
Anyone heard it yet?

Re: Dub FX...
Im with Wolf
I find him really cheesy and cringey and his music is pure waste
Reepsone is the only beatboxer around right now that attempts anything remotely interesting with what he's doing
bit rough but to me, beatboxing is about originality and new ideas, not 'how realistic can I make this sound WITH THE AID OF DSP BOXES' which appears to be Par FX's main vibe..
If I wanted to hear cheesy tribal breakstep I would listen to some, not some guys attempt to recreate some with his mouth
not that I could do any better but it's fun to hate

Re: Dub FX...
I admire all 3 guy's front & vocal dexterity.
like Beardyman's humour,
prefer Dub FX's music cos it's closest to dubstep
but only a 4 minute hold on me & no payout for CD.
He'd probably make a better MC than most I've heard.
