My trusty pair of JPW ML-510s at home, beautiful rear-ported speakers (and British-made!).

Such a nice sound from these, had mine for 'years'. might try and get a new pair for my living room.

decent! dont envy you on the wiring job tho, spent way too much of my time wiring shit up for parties, serious long tings...

yeah man, have done some car installations on mates and its not too bad, but for this, ive got to have a car battery with trickle charger and capacitor, linked to my amp, which goes to subs obviously, all converters and transformers are needed if i was going to run it off mains which is long, so hopefully battery wont die too soon. its straight phono from PA to my amp, so is kinda straight forward, just hope the battery doesn't go too quick

Any one know away of running a car amp off of mains electric?

ive had these around for a long time. only one of the two works, they have been through alot of "family abuse". lol always getting banged up by my nephews.
thank god for the salvation army.i love how tons of nice equipment comes through and no matter how nice it is, its always under 30 dollars.
they had a whole corner of speakers, some decent sized ones too all for like 5 dollars.

The sub is really excellent I must say, never distorts and produces a nice warm tone. Although after about a year of abuse mine does have a bit of rattle at certain frequencies...

Some may hate what am about to say buuuuuut have a look at a pair of use Mackie SRM 350V1 or V2's then look for a 2nd hand / used Mackie SWA 1501 sub.

Small-ish but works a treat in a house and will do a party of about 100 people .... if you have big house paties lol

I have 2 KRK R8's but one has a bit of a hiss these days that comes and goes as it pleases (not too bad though still) and the R10 sub to go with it.........pretty affordable setup that does a decent job IMO, had it about 4-5 years now

I've heard good things about the Bagend products.... i think am right in saying that they also do a range a backline for bands but could be wrong ?

yamaha natural sound amp A-07 n panasonic subwoofer is only info i know of amp n speakers, found them on a pavement. work fine n have the warmest bass feel to them

Haha, that Logitech x 2 channel x series set up looks so intimidated by whats below. I would of just overlooked that had I not known what they were from experience--unfortunately.

My set up is a Pre-amp to 250 Watt amp, driving 2 180 watt 10'' sub towers and a few drivers and tweeters connected to a phono input. I can't put anything more with the limited space that I have, but its plenty for my needs. (No pics, sorry.)

I want to build one of these so badly.



I want that setup (include the DIY amp ) in Oak or Maple with dark marble contrast, but with two dual 12'' towers--black and silver are so cold and frigid, just doesn't match the warm analog sound which I enjoy most. I'd get rid of that monitor and place the pre-amp and amp in the center and maybe two other channels.

the Bag End line is mainly PA, but they do have some home theater/studio and some cabinets that could be used for backline, like a 4x10 i think.
my sub isnt so punchy but it definitely reaches any low note that makes it onto the wax...

have interface from pc, has phono out to the pa's amp, out of pa is phono to my cars amp, which powers subs.

I had that system for about 2 days and took it back to Curry's claiming it didn't work which was kinda true. Terrible sound quality ... very muffly. I would agree that the sub is very powerful but the mini speakers for the mid/hi's were awful.
