And they call this a democracy.. Good chance!
Basically declaring war

Just happened to be passing through.. Yeaaa
wasn't as live as I expected, though it was still early days

Not too fussed at the minute
Shit happens
Least I still have my arms and legs
And BRAIN,
Though malnourished

Personally, all the unrest, violence and discontent recently makes me smile. Coupled with the apparent rise in popularity for free parties, people seem to be getting a bit fed up of it all now really. /vivalarevolution

Let's hope they don't bump up the prices for Physics at University of Leeds then.

I'm happy with the unrest and violence but in no way do i agree with people harming anyone or attacking any police horses. It's not right at all.

Bullshit, what isn't right at all is a party completely u-turning on it's manifesto and turning it's back on the people that helped them get their filthy fucking fingers into government. This sorta shit was expected from the conservatives all along, but the Lib Dems have really fucked over the nation by passing this bill.

I was there today (behind the police not against them, gives you a decent perspective init). What's bullshit is the policemen I saw carried away in stretchers with blood coming from their heads/gashes in the legs etc. The Lib Dems have lied and this will no doubt spell the end of them as any more than a fringe party, but violence against police isn't cool.

Don't give me any bullshit about police brutality, I saw the fireworks, snooker balls, etc in the air and on the ground. Who brings weapons to a peaceful protest?

I don't care if you want to smash the windows on topshop (actually a lot better cause with regards to their tax breaks etc, if only they didnt make such nice clothes or we'd hate them too) but hurting people is absolutely in no way whatsoever justified.

I'd like to think otherwise but just overhearing conversations (e.g. "oh fuck, where am I gonna find £9000 by September") it sounds like a lot of people aren't as informed about the changes as they could be, and that's the fault of the government. Not enough effort has been made to make the debate about the issues rather than vilifying the protests.

Why do police bring weapons?

Police are the instrument used to protect the state. They are just as bad as the politicians who passed this tuition hike. No tears for those fucks.

Lib Dems have shot themselves in the foot totally over this.

A lot of people who voted Lib Dem this time round were 18yr old first time voters, students, people who thought they were voting for the tutition fee freeze as it was the first main political idea that appealed to them.

Imagine the first time you dip your toe into the pool of the democratic process, the first time you cast your vote, the first time you are able to do so, and the party that promised you fucking PROMISED YOU to not do something that is very big in your world, that party lies to your fucking face and goes and does it anyway.

These 18yr old first time voters are never going to forget that the first time they voted, that the Lib Dems lied to them and smiled through their fucking teeth whilst they did it. Clegg has basically signed his own death warrant. As if people didn't think the Lib Dems were Diet Tory™ enough already, he goes and pulls a stunt like this.

The 18yr old voters of today are going to shape the political landscape of tomorrow, and the Lib Dems aren't going to have a pot to piss in nor a window to throw it out of.

I didn't think those student twats had the balls to have a ruck with the old bill. Fair play!

But I guess I'm the twat because insted of my tax being paid to some unemployed tnuc it has to pay for police overtime and cleaning up the terrible mess caused by the protest.

I don't know what's worse!?!

Do you think the Lib Dems would have actually put tuitions fees up if they had got soley into power??? No.

Yes what has happened is against their monifesto and obviously that is going to upset alot of people. However this is a Conservative decision. Nobody is really saying anything against them and alot more people voted for them that the Lib Dems. People are just looking for scapegoats, how many of the people who are complaining about Nick Clegg actually voted for him? If they had of done then none of this would be happening.

What's the point in there being a coalition at all if the Lib Dems are just going to bend over and spread their arse cheeks for Tory policies every fucking time? It's a joke... what's worse is not the fact they've fucked things for themselves but that they've destroyed any hope or confidence that people's votes actually matter/can change things.
