Why does Soundcloud ruin my upload?

If that's the case, then 128->128 transcoding would still be pretty damaging.

Yeah, i'd imagine it'd be even worse, as you'd have the artifacts from the 128 transcoded to the new 128, instead of the clean wav to 128.

Dood, I just listened to an old track of mine on soundcloud, it used to sound like shit. It was just pure mush. But now it is relatively clear. Wtf is up with that one?

Once, I uploaded a 2 minute clip of a WIP I had to soundcloud, the transcoding just never completely loaded all the way and it just froze. My internet was fine so I quit my browser then went back on soundcloud and just out of nowhere I have a 6min and 30sec Glitchy House Tune on my page. I was just like this is some f**ked up s**t. I never even made it :/

for some reason, im just starting to have this problem

anything i upload after my last track has terrible clipping

i've cut off practically all of the high frequencies in reason
i turn everything down on the mixer

i play it back in vlc and it sounds pretty okay after being rendered into a wav

i upload it to soundcloud and there's shit clipping everywhere and retarded distortion

maybe i got a virus
