I am finding some of these comments rather aggressive. I honestly don't mind people slating my music but when it comes to misinterpreting what someone has said in an interview…well thats just 'wack' and 'stupid'
DSF is the best resource for anything dubstep related. I still read and post here. Why would I not? We are all 'mere mortals' because this is all just underground music. I am not a celebrity, rock star, diva, superhero etc… I am Sara, I make tunes and DJ. DSF allowed me to send tunes to people like Kode9 and from that he started releasing my music.
I have met some amazing people just through this forum alone because of the community spirit, but I do think that has changed in the last few years. I haven't felt 'at home' on this forum for a while.
I do not agree that DSF is 'stupid' or 'wack'.
Kris, you have been dming me tunes for years using dubstepforum. Do you still think dsf is the best way for sending tunes? I personally don't. This interview was done about a year ago, just as tools like Twitter, Dropbox and Soundcloud became more popular (IMO).
I don't think I'll do any more interviews for a while because I find people tend to perceive artists in such a mythical way. We are people, so please do not hang on everything we say. Interviews for me are actually very nerve-racking, because I don't like talking about my music or pretending to be an ambassador for whatever people are labelling me at the time. I understand they are permanent and I am very slowly understanding how press works.
I do apologise for offending anyone, hate and arrogance is really not in my nature.
I will always love this forum.
Sorry once again,
