raw dogz vip sounds appauling... massive vst "m-talk" oscilator routed to the LFO OMG WOW I CAN FUCKING DO THAT... sounds like skrillex remixed it.. nice one, apart from that it isnt too bad... but kind of insultin to hear at dmz surely? people come from all angles just to see this legendary dance and instead this happens? "come meditate on midrange" should be put on the flyer next time so we know what to expect

Wrong vibes for DMZ night.

Yes they dropped Basscannon - What were they thinking?

I can remember when Officer Dub was released back in 05/06, so I think I've heard enough bass music, to entitle my opinion. I didn't like your set. You've played A LOT better.

Boys, grow up, and learn how to take crit - Just because it's not what you want to hear, doesn't make it wrong. Your set was gash, and full of pop mid-range noise. Take on board what listeners say; after all, we are the ones that buy your records and pay to see you play. A real let down, last night. Don't let your egos gets in the way of your talent.

..TOO LATE.

like it or not man its a huge part of the sound now

and tbf i havent listened but the overwhelming majority of that lineup is what we like..

i would have gone for a smoke for their set if i was there and let the kids have their fun and then come back for the deeper sets

although for me i find it odd how many huge dubs skream is sitting on he doesnt play em out more but its up to him really :)

exothermic reaction is next level still

To those saying 'we're the ones who buy your records and make you money', it's worth pointing out the bulk of their fanbase is no longer dubstep enthusiasts. It's radio 1 listeners. It's always been a bit of a rubbish argument, but it's now one I don't think can realistically be made anyway.

On the discussion of growning up, you should take a look at yourself. They played the music they felt like playing. If you can't respect that, then YOU need to grow up.

Besides, has nobody been to a Skream / Benga set for the past couple of years?

Disappointing set, some good tunes but a good dj needs to consider it's audience. Raw dogs vip was unlistenable.

Or idiots shouldn't make assumptions on the music policy.

I bet you were hoping for the La Roux remix.

Thats like saying if you buy tickets for a Metallica gig and Spice Girls play a set instead you have no right to complain.

Of course you have to make assumptions about the music policy - other wise how can you decide if you even want to go in the first place?

Not discussing skreams set here, just pointing out thats a pretty unreasonable thing to say.

No it's not really like that at all. DMZ isn't advertised as a Dubstep/Brostep night, it's advertised as a night for Bass Music, and that's what got delivered.

When was the last time you even heard those guys? To me, it's the same sort of tunes (obviously different/newer ones) they played at the Culture Clash.

Plus if you didn't like it, Moxie was doing a set in room 2.

What did you even expect anyway? An hour full of tunes on the same vibe as Skreams David Lynch remix? :dunce:

He is clearly saying he's been into bass music / buying Skreams tunes since 05/06 so hes able to form a educated opinion, were not doing an A / B test to Katy B or Magnetic Man... Starting a argument claiming its 2005 isnt going to help matters is it! 'Skreams set last night was shit, its 2005 for christ's sake'

2005 / 2011 / 2015 what ever, was a pretty poor selection nuff people are saying it.
