That Equinox track is actually pretty good in the first :30 :|

The tearout parts just all sound the same to me

I love ALL Skrillex stuff BUT (lol) im not a fan of the Retile track seems like theres too much going on for my liking..

Also some of the haters - OMG? Iv only heard one good argument in this thread and that was the sex with a robot i.e. no emotion - fair point?

Some people are just haters and they say some stupid bollox that think is technical (so people think they know there shit, coz thats how they roll.. get me?) and then chuck in an insult. Like... the reverb tail is 4ms too long which seriously makes sub bass frequencies at around 2.5khz seriously whack!

skrillex is a perfect example. using his sheer talent and musical knowledge to craft garbage electro and dubstep

just imagine if skrillex took the chilled route and actually used his skills musically
If Skrillex made chill tunes? Sounds like some kind of alternate universe. Can't quite imagine it.

He's an amazing producer so no matter wut all these haters say about him being shiity, they're stupid. Lol. They could NEVER make this for a while if ever. They're just mad that Skrillex is taking over, and some what bleeding over into the dubstep genre. But he does what ever genre really. He's a beast.
Mate you broke my heart. I swear i've never readed so many bullshit in a single post! I don't get mad to skrillex just because " HE'S HIM ". I love dubstep and i know its roots and its vibes and, trust me, he's soooooo far to be known as a " dubstep producer ". I love the evolution of the genre, but this guy's doing it tooootaly wrong, i think that ANYONE can produce filthy and louder sounds and then putting it all together. Producing dubstep it's way sooo hard than that, u need to get the total control of the sub, this is a root of it!
Yeah anyone can take a synth and turn it all the way up but it actually takes hours of time to program a synth to sound really proper and heavy everyones heard bass music man not hating on it because Ive produced it myself but bass music has been around for over ten years now thats why people are so stoked on this shit because its NEW and not just bass anymore its heavy sounding filthy shit

i'm sure the guy in nickelback is a talented guitarist but i would never listen to that fucking bullshit music, either

and i'm not only a fan of minimal dubstep... for example, i like kromestar, coki, et al. that's how you do tearout dubstep... not this ear bleed treble bullshit. if you like it, that's fine, but don't try to say that people who don't like it are "haters" because he's a "good producer." that's retarded.

skrillex is good at what he does. PERIOD.
not necessarily in the sense of dubstep or production, but the fact that he has taken over. gone viral. (lady gaga ish)
he did not force the thousands of listeners to like him, they did so willingly
just as he pioneered a sound that 876543 other producers and want-to-be producers try to emulate.

everyone is entitled to like what they like.
is it so inconceivable that some people might actually favor tear outs?
(yes i know its predominantly high school kids, but the hype of the music feeds the wild hormones. its biology)

and as seen here, haters are entitled to hate.
but thats fine and they can keep doing that because they are only revealing themselves as haters and jackassholes. (so keep it up because its not the "shitty producers" that control "scene", its the haters)

its like rock music.
poppy vs indie. indie vs punk. punk vs hardcore. hardcore vs metal.

im not even a skrillex fan. i just respect him as an artist.

p.s. for those who believe otherwise, skrillex can and DOES implement musicality.
im surprised haters cant hear that, but that shows how much they know ;-)

Because dubstep is supposed to be minimal...not a bunch of different sounding robots
And chill dubstep is the name given by ignorant twats for dubstep that has no filth, which we all no is NOT dubstep
