Samson Rubicon 6as

In my opinion they are the best in their price range. KRKs are maybe more 'pleasing' to listen to without a sub but the Rubicons give a flatter response.

better than KRK RP6? or no?
M-audio can't be better than krk right? Heard nothing but 'decent-reviews' on those monitors some even plain bad.

... 15 watt PC-Line surround... They kinda blow by comparison to what I'm seeing in this thread. Oh well, low grade gear makes you cool, everyone knows that.

i really enjoy my yamaha hs 80s... i have tinitus and find it hard to focus on the high mids.. and they help me...

a little lacking in the lower mids tho...

i wish i wouldve waited for something better...

speakers u can always upgrade.. so buy a little more then what u can afford, take care of it and then upgrade...

The numbers refer to the cone size, and the bigger the cone, the bigger & lower the bass response… so get the biggest you can afford/fit in your studio… the M-Audio BX5a’s are made to work with BX-10 Sub woofer, however…

So they will reproduce mids and highs very well, but you’ll be lacking deep bass...

I have BX8’s… and don’t need a sub.
sick man i may end up going with those if theyre better quality than the krk's

nah man! get the krk's in the price range you have a monitor with a good bass responce is what you need. i would either go for the krk rokit 8's (what i use) or the seriously under rated yamaha's. dont get m-audio monitors my friend has a pair they are good but not as good ask other options. do some research and take into concideration the size of your room if its a really small room get 5" monitors medium 6" or a big room 8"
