What was ever wrong with Black Flag? I do not understand post-hardcore or whatever this genre is. Different strokes I suppose.

Black Flag is not post-hardcore really.

My War and onward they started to play a little different but it wasn't post-hardcore.

what I was saying was that hardcore punk had no need to evolve an further by the time Black Flag were around. PS My War is awesome.

Black Flag is the original hardcore. I'm more into the newer stuff; 'post-harcore'/'metalcore'.

I would rather listen to brostep than the bands posted in the op.

It's all about Converge and Botch.

I have been trying to get into TFOT, but that whiny singer pisses me off, great instrumental stuff though.

That first track you posted is great though :5: What album of theirs would you recommend?

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

Just listen to "The Opposite Of December" by Poison The Well, one of if not the most influential albums out there.
"Dying Is Easy, Living is What Scares Me."
