i think what you're noticing is that there isn't much to say about that end of the spectrum. also, almost everyone who gets into it runs out of interest after 3 or 4 months.

anyway, in the Music subforum (right be below this) there is plenty of love for midrange bangers. As i pointed out there isn't much to read tho... just pages of "oh bra thats so filthy" or "I saw this at a dance and it was SO AWESOME". enjoy.

As a death metal fan you should understand the backlash towards that super aggy sound. It's exactly the same as the death metal communitys backlash towards the deathcore scene.

I don't even have a really big problem with that particular sound other than that it went from just being electro influenced and a bit more aggressive (where a lot of producers made lots of great stuff) to a shitfest where everyone stopped making tunes and started competing over who can make the "hardest" track.

Piston is right, no point limiting yourself but at the same time this is Dubstep forum, if you want to talk about that type of dubstep then just start a thread, but if you do please make it new and interesting. You are bound to get comments from people who disagree with your taste, probably me, but there will also be a few people who agree with you. Just talk to those people, PM or something. Happy days.
