I thought it was a lot better than the majority of hard stuff coming out at the time (Blueprint is a personal favorite), but their newer stuff is miles ahead on every level really...instead of liking one side of every two releases or whatever, I like pretty much everything I hear from them these days.

same
same as.. and for comments about, they are only getting love for their tunes because of loefah is bare jokes. they make bad boy tunes, end of! and if you read the blackdown interview youngsta was playing their tunes way before the loefah hook up. they already had a massive fan base, they have history already within music, they wore making , releasing tunes way before loefah etc.. if you know anything about them, they hooked up with big names way back, kenny ken, goldie etc.. not to mention their anthem track on metalheadz 'hide the tears'. if you havent already check out their lost all faith album released in 2007. amazing album...

i think with anyone who gets love, success you get haters, but these guys deserve all the props they are getting.

regarding the production video, as much as i would like to know what they are doing, there is a side of me that would rather them keep their skills to them selfs and let people work it out, just like they had to....

^ Yeh u nailed it.

Kryptic Minds were building a BIG repuation in dubstep for Loefah got them signed. Being on Swamp 81 may have got them a bit more attention but they were gonna get big regardless of name, label ect.

On topic i would love to see what goes on in their studio. Cos no matter what anyone says, the production is just mindblowing on most of the tunes.

Haha, all about that avatar, omah smashes it.

On the side note - I admire them as producers I just don't really like anything they've made...I ain't hating just ain't my thing! Although I find their DnB work a lot better and I am a total DnB hater.. so it makes no sense to me.

Not really I thought it was quite forgetable if I am honest, the productions were good but I wasn't excited musically, as a listener.

In dubstep... Pretty much all of anti social, skream, ramadanman, headhunter, 2562, martyn, most of the hyper dub lot, d1, el-b (even the el-tuff stuff), Pinch, Cyrus, Distance, Threnody, Coleco, Succulent C and plastician for the grimey vibes.

'bout it - apart from not so well known people who're doin' a lot!

The hype around Kryptic Minds?
Simple: they're one of the few d&b producers that didn't just slow their beats down to 140 BPM.. They actually managed to make dubstep..

apparently their first few dubstep beats were at like 120 or around that area but they were corrected and told 140 is the standard.

they shouldn't have been corrected imo...I wanna hear these 120 tracks
