Have you ever ditched your friends to go to a night?
Re: Have you ever ditched your friends to go to a night?
I like going out by myself. I don't even need to talk to anyone. It's more a music thing than a social thing for me these days.
That said, going out with a slew of folks is always fun too- I just don't mind rolling solo.

i always go to nights on my own. i got tired of missing people because others didn't want to go so i've started going on my own. i find it gets a bit awkward but once i get a few red stripes down me i'm fine

I don't think I have the balls to go alone. On the other hand, if it was someone I really wanted to see, like say youngsta came to NY for some fucking reason, I don't think i'd mind riding solo. also being hammered wouldn't hurt like red stripe said

I usually like to do my own thing at the dance, so sometimes going alone is preferable. Easier to meet new people that way.

no matter with who i go with - i'm usually on my own in my small little subbass bubble

I went by myself to see DJG, XI, and Addison Groove. It was awesome.

Yes, i've done this a load of times. If people get angry that's their problem, i need my bass.

i've done it 3 times its more fun but i feel kinda strange to go alone, maybe i just need to get used to it.
It's about dropping a track at the wrong speed, and it sounding better than the real thing.
Re: Have you ever ditched your friends to go to a night?
I always end up ditching my mates when I'm actually there, most of 'em genuinely don't seem interested in the music itself after about half an hour and keep ducking out for a cigarette or walking about. I just slip off on my own to my preferential set and skank out until it's time to go home.
Would probably like to reach a night by myself, but leaving the house on your own and queing up just sounds so awkward really. Once you're in I bet it's alright, just the hanging about and journey there without anyone to talk/drink with that's the issue. Maybe with the aid of substances tho
