I like both of you tracks.

I think he just copied your beat and the key, sounds like his track is different. I can hear the beat in the track for sure though.

Nice job, don't tell him he fucked it up, just tell him you don't like it. Being polite and professional will get you places, being an asshole will not!

Cheers!

He's in a different key, but that can easily be fixed. TBH I think they are both great ideas that can come together. Obviously your track has a nicer atmosphere, but puttin some groovy delay on that 8 bit like sound on-top of your track with some string stabs, with those incidental glitch hats at the end of a phrase or two isn't a bad idea IMO.

This is assuming you're ok with the idea of someone with outside influences altering your track. If not then you shouldn't be collabing in the first place.

This thread has been such a great read... :')

Can't wait to hear both tunes when I'm off my phone.

Just explain that it doesn't sound how you intended for the tune to be... Tell him it's going in the wrong direction. Then pick your collabo partner more carefully next time!

Jeez. This is like a primary school playground drama. :corntard:

Now you've made a thread, a link up is in order.
Do you say zerbaman? Or do you say zebraman?

both tracks sound alright. he just took your key and did something different with it. just tell him you didn't intend to go that way with your track then he will probably accept that and do something different.
