one of my secret weapons is the "Rate and Follow" saturation on the Access Virus

that thing mangles synth sounds like no other effect

Well, the shruthi 1, since its DIY and im prob the only person on here with one... :P With the forthcoming programmer and the second Jupiter filter its going to be uber sickness...

Reaktor, been mentioned but yush.

UAD plugins. Makes mixing a pleasure.

TR909. This thing is made of techno. Hardly a secret but it just is. :D

I dig OhmForce Ohmicide. Aside from the amp modeling features, it rapes iZotope trash - which I have been using religiously for years.

Bach 16 arpeggiator in Ableton, throw some unsynced synth patch on there with the rate almost right down, effect to taste first of course, write a single 2/4/8 bar note and automate the rate of that badboy. (Fast attack too)
