Does your ADD/ADHD help your producing?

I was diagnosed late with ADHD at the age of about 12 or 13 i think... 10 years ago

I was heavily medicated for 3 years on ritalin and during this time i was very unhappy, i lost a lot of friends and people said that i wasn't myself...

Eventually i turned to crushing up the ritalin i was supposed to be taking twice a day and snorting a weeks worth in a few hours... no idea what made me do that i was a teenager innit fuk knows what goes on in your head at that time...

anyway... i'm well shot of that now and ever since everything has been so much better...

i self medicate with weed which i truly believe helps me to concentrate and focus and pretty much do anything well...

did half my A-levels stoned as fuck and got good marks, did some exams without smoking that day and pretty much failed them completely... although as i have got older i have developed some appreciation for not being stoned (even if it is only for 3 hours first thing in the morning lol)

with regards to my production i have no idea if it has a negativ or positive effect as i've never had any basis for comparisom... all i can say is that i rely on smoking a lot of weed when i produce to keep me focused and calm... if i don't smoke everything gets hectic and all over the place and i can't concentrate and i never get anything done...

dunno where i'm going with all of this... just my story on the topic i guess...

Oh, and to this day i believe Ritalin is one of the worst things you caould ever give to a developing child who is already having difficultys fitting in to "normal" society. And it makes me so ridiculously angry when people refer to ADD/ADHD as a sickness or illnes as it is my belief that people with this condition are simply a little different and in some ways it can be a huge advantage... (i have extra special skils in talking a massive amount of shit in a very short space of time for example !!!! lol)
