i think you're absolutely on the right track in terms of production, i just don't feel it really stands out from the million other 'dubstep' tunes that follow the same sound and layout.

that's just what i think though, i'd still send it and who knows maybe it'll be loved, whatever happens i could see your shit out there one day
yeah i do feel my drum track is a tad lacking. the thing is everything i try ends up making it sound crowded and it doesnt follow the groove of the bassline. im lookin through my sample library to try and find some incidental blips and hats to put in there. i really wanna get this track ace.

Thinking about it, you could just take the plunge and sent it as is. Looking at Hemlocks output, they break out a lot of very different sounding artists (Breton v James Blake) with each release. It's good to hear you actually wish to improve on it though, all the best. :4:

Yeah thats what i like about hemlock. they put out different sounds, giving them a unique catalogue. and james blake and ramadanman are two of my favourite artists so being able to say im signed on a label theyve released tracks with.

as far as this track goes im really happy with it, i think itll be done by tonight or tomorrow the latest. im making the percussion a tad more interesting to spice it up, but not adding anymore atmospheres because i like just having the quiet white noise in the background. thanks for all the kind words guys, means alot.
