yeah man. who wrote this trollop? it seems people really like to pronounce music genres as 'dead' these days. like they get some kinda kicks out of doin it.

what do they know? so fuck it.
Bare in mind its a translation, might come across with a slightly different meaning than what the original Spanish meant.

No it's a word for word translation and both the spanish and catalan bits say the same.

Spanish journos always on point  I've read a few times here treat dubstep as a subgenre of grime, or as an evolution of IDM, and lots of nonsense like that...

The mix is big btw, I'll buy the magazine when it's out and upload the mix if it's ok.

not sure if they were from go! magazine but the girl who interviewed me from spain at dubstep changed my life, aside from being very beautiful, seemed to have it very on point. i will look forward to reading a translation of the piece if anyone can be bothered.

Do you remember what publication it was mate? just out of curiosity... (EDIT: now I see you said you didn't remember, don't watch)
yeh, there's a few magazines that still know what they're dealing with, but usually the bigger ones don't know what they talk about when they're out of the minimal techno trend, and the worst thing is that they pretend they do... I remember a couple dubstep reviews on "El Pais" and "Mondosonoro" specially catastrophic :|

I'll try and translate it when I have it, no probs.

Oye David - do you remember that article in the ABC magazine? Can't remember journo's name - that was OK¿no?

I always thought in the past Go just copied articles from the British music press basically. Maybe I've got it wrong... wouldn't be the first time

Ez DT

Go is given away free - or it was . It is a "trendy" paper. Sort of all you need to know to blag your way.
Are you gonna be reaching Barna at sonar then?
