Lizard Hi Tone wrote:Amon Tobin! There's alot of dubstep influences audible in his new album Foley Room, which you should get anyway, the production values are unbelievable, he's in a league of his own.

Download the track 'Big Furry Head' - fucking awesome, I'm putting it in a dubstep mix I'm doing soon, be interested to hear what people think of it. He made the majority of sounds on t'album from found sounds, and the roar in this is the bizniz
haha that's funny, I almost ALWAYS drop Big Furry Head when I'm playing dubstep out. and I agree, Amon Tobin can get nasty sounds, and would be terrific, but he's to "out there" to focus on producing for a specific genre.

and people, don't download the track Big Furry Head... buy the album, Foley Room... fuck that, buy his discography, the man is a genius and will blow your mind if he hasn't already. plus, Foley Room comes in a beautiful Gatefold packaging, 180g vinyl, AND a DVD. do it.

eah. i see your point but just to be a dick i'll point out that they have a cd with some cuts from thriller on it. and nobody, not even starbucks, could ruin thriller.

and it's not even about bieng cool. i just don't like the way it sounds. to clean and overproduced. with like. cheezy saxaphone riffs and shit.
