I doubt they're trolling, my reasoning behind this is because the song they play features a similar 'wobble' sound to which they will identify as dubstep. Retarded, I know - but you can see their thought process.

There's a few videos on youtube with whiny kids moaning about dubstep. For the most part they go on about stuff like Skrillex (or similar) and the entire 'wobble/filth' stuff and go on the assumption all dubstep is similar. It's extremely annoying and ignorant, but this is what many believe. It's similar people who will make blanket statements such as 'rap is all about guns and women' or 'all rock is emo' etc...It's retarded really but trust me people do believe it. My brother is similar to dubstep actually, and claims it's 'not music' and is terrible. Basically he's an example of one of these people with regards to dubstep. Then you have those who 'like' it and truly reinforce the stereotype, going to raves with a tied-up hoody or denim jacket showing their 'bassfaces' to a Borgore song. I've found it's best to ignore all parties, as long as you know the truth then let them be ignorant.

As for going as far to post a video online about your thoughts, it's probably the biggest thing which annoys me. Why do these kids think they have some kind of 'audience' who will want to hear from them? It goes for a lot of things, normal, dull people think they can just 'vlog' and become a hit or gain an ego when in reality they're one of millions with the same dumb opinions which no one cares about.

if you're pissed off with this vid it means you're still young and haven't had time to see it's a pointless argument.

how about looking at it from another angle.

they obviously know nothing about electronic music, so i reckon they're in a band of some kind playing guitar or something.
no one goes to their gigs, and they're jealous because everyone's into dubstep and no one wants to shag them.

what's easier for them - look at themselves and why they're failing, OR transfer their negativity onto something else?

critics are always failures at whatever they're criticizing - in this case it's music!
