I lived in Leytonstone a couple of years ago and I got talking to a taxi driver one day.....

Apparently, the huge underground shopping centre was completed about 18 months ago. It goes 100ft down and is like the size of Bluewater. Its completely empty and is waiting for the shop spaces to be bought, which wont happen to about 2010.

...he said that quite a lot of the local workers (shop owners etc) were invited down for a tour.
