Hello, are you able to expand a bit on who you are/your involvement in the scene? I'm sure some history and applicable accolades would alleviate some of the concern people would feel about your proposed event. At this point the sceptical among us would view you as yet another organization /individual seeing the scene as a cash making enterprise, rather than a worthwhile well established organization /individual looking to reward Dubstep's noteworthy contributors.
Thanks
T

Havin been at Birmingham Uni for the past 2 years all i can say is that this is more than likely gunna be a fuck off rave with the likes of circus, chronos, Rottun etc etc, this seems to be all Birmingham has to offer these days>>>>>>> so i am literally praying that (if it actually happens) all aspects of the genre are covered so Brum can be graced with AT least one rave which isn't bombarded by continuous screeching. I do enjoy tear out but Birmingham has been bombarded by 'the filthiest night of your life' far to much now and its breaking my baIls.

In all fairness Birmingham has a few pretty good venues within very close proximity of eachother, so could provide

Guess that is happening everywhere nowadays. Pretty much no raves left here without hearing screeching sounds... Which is also the reason why I haven't been to a single rave in months, while I used to go almost every weekend 3 years ago.

Saw this on Dragons Den, Peter Jones & Duncan Bannatyne went in together and backed these bright young sparks from brum for a 40% take on the profit.

Well done chaps!

at least with this we wont be able to predict all the winners in each category months before the event like i did on the dsf awards last year

and also, although i personally prefer the deeper, sub laced dubstep. People have to learn that there are more aspects to this scene nowadays & that by slating all the "screechy wobble noises" they are no better than the people who say that the deeper stuff is boring.
