nice one chad, try putting a second synth on or sending that one through a bus with some distortion, sounds fucking good but needs a bit of grit

this is a quick attempt and i just sampled some drums from badklaat to keep it sounding more like his style. its all in massive and the most important part is reverb and adding a small delay to it for size. I also modulated the delay and daft filters. its kind of close i guess

Was jus having a listen to Corruption by Requake & Badklaad and I remembered that I used to have an older unreleased version of the tune that was only labeled 'Badklaat.' The offical release has so much swing and swagger to it compared to the WIP version... does anyone here use Regroove on their basses?

PRETTY MUCH FINISHED PRODUCT.

this sound is fucking easy when you put your mind to it.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

If you're using reason, malstrom is the easiest way to do it (cuz most of those dudes use reason & malstrom to make all those sounds). Don't over complicate shit, it's really easy to make those synths. Generally you want to use square or square 4th for both osc. Have it routing thru everything, and filter B on comb= at around 64 and filter A on Bandpass at around 40. This trick with these is not using the mod to wobble the frequencies, flip the rack over, route mod b cv to the cv splitter and the outputs of the cv to the filter cv input and click it up so its only effecting the Filter A, as u want the Comb to sit still. Flip it over and add some volume wobble to from the from mod (or u can just route the cv to level and choose how much wobble you want). Another really important thing is having the Scream 4, usually on tube or tape with the body on mode B and the resonance at around 45-55 and fuck around with the scale and body knob, thats you get that wet/squalchy noise onto your patch. The rest of the FX chain is up to your own preference.
